MOOSE HUNTING WITH K.O.C.

We at K.O.C. have been lucky enough to have several great connections for moose here in Alberta. We are able to offer every type of moose hunt Alberta has to offer. Here is a run down of the type of moose hunting to choose from:
- Fly-In Calling Season – land a float plane onto a remote lake in northern Alberta, be in a remote location and stay at an outpost camp. A chance to hunt the awesome moose rut and have your guide call one of the big boys in for you. Some of these fly-in trips have an option of adding a black bear as a combo.

- A.T.V. Access Calling Season – this is also a rut hunt where your hunting areas are accessible by ATVs. These camps consist of a holiday trailer or an ATCO trailer unit or even an outpost tent camp with a cook tent. 

- November Hunts – we have two methods in our November hunts, the first is hunting the farmland moose in areas accessible by 4x4 or by foot. Success rates run as high as 90% kill here. The second method is hunting the deep bush with ATV or on foot. Here we hunt cut blocks and ridges. Great success rates are boasted here as well. PLEASE NOTE; this is a great opportunity for a moose / whitetail combo. This is one of our most popular combos that are easily changed to a 10-day hunt if the hunter so desires. This drastically increases success rates. Imagine a monster whitetail and a big Alberta bull moose in one trip!

We have a couple of hunts left that are a guarantee kill in free-range zone! No lie here, a very reasonable priced hunt and a definite opportunity or the outfitter will personally give half of the cost of the hunt back…wow! Here you can expect to see twenty plus moose a week and potentially kill a 30” plus moose with many of our hunters getting a 45” plus bull.
